Curing Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), also known as acid reflux or stomach acid is a long term disease and can’t be treated easily unless we take serious actions. It all depends on our eating habits. Studies have shown that the time between 12 AM to 3 PM is when you have chances to suffer from acid reflux.

I am telling this from my personal experience that I have suffered from this pain and its just too much to bear. You can’t breathe properly and the pain is unbearable. Although I have done several things to treat it and somehow I have prevented it from further happening. Here’s How I did it. gastroesophageal reflux disease icd 10

There are various things that you can do but you should know that if your condition is worse then do consult a doctor before following anyone’s advice. There are several things that a doctor can recommend from master cleanse to a better diet.

Apart from following a healthy diet and eating healthy foods, there are other things that you should keep in mind. A daily moderate exercise, proper sleep, and avoidance of certain foods is very important if you want to control your acid reflux.

1: SLEEP ON TIME:

This has helped me a lot. There are two things that I do, eat my dinner at 8 PM and sleep after 3–4 hours. One thing you should do is that don’t eat anything during the last 3–4 hours of your day. Proper sleep will also help in improving your skin quality and in some cases, it will also help in preventing wrinkles for gastroesophageal reflux disease symptoms.

In my case I was suffering from acid reflux problem, therefore I had to avoid foods that would trigger the reflux. So sleeping on time is very important I will tell you why in my last point. There are various other benefits of sleeping early and properly. If you are already going to a fitness center and building your muscles then a proper sleep can help in recovering your torn muscles.

2: WHAT TO EAT:

Like I mentioned before that Diet is a very important factor to control stomach acid. There are certain foods that can trigger the acid in your stomach, while some can control it. Eating fruits like Banana & Apple has helped me a lot to control my acid reflux during the night. There are several studies that show most acid reflux attacks occur during the night.

I usually eat one apple or banana after my dinner because since the day I started eating these two fruits I noticed a great change. Keep in mind that everything that I am telling is from my personal experience you are free to try other fruits as well.

3: AVOID THESE FOODS:

Some of best gastroesophageal reflux disease remedy : Foods that can trigger stomach acid are mostly spicy food, oily foods, chocolate, tea, and tomatoes. These are the main culprits that will make you suffer during night. There are several other foods that can do the same job but try to avoid these foods during the night.

If you want to eat them the do it 5–6 hours before your sleep so that they can digest properly. heartburn is a serious issue and should be dealt with in the same manner. Eating unhealthy foods at night will cause some serious damage to your digestive system. The acid leak in the stomach can also lead to cancer as well. 4: EXERCISE:

Another important thing is daily exercise. whether you do a moderate one or intense it depends on you. Daily physical activity is required if you want to stay fit and avoid issues like GERD. Coming to my sleep on time point, when you sleep on time then chances are you will wake up on time.

When you do the first thing that you should do is go for a walk, do it for 15–20 minutes after that meditate for 10 minutes. Thats all you have to do. you should adapt to this routine so that your body gets pumped up and it will control the level of acid in your stomach. 5: DIET:

This is the most important thing that you should follow no matter what. Following a healthy diet is very important if you want to improve your gastric problem. It all comes down to your lifestyle and diet. What you eat is what you will become. Acidic foods have the same effect on your body. So you have to be very careful in choosing the best diet for yourself.

There are several diets that you can follow. The most effective one is keto with intermittent fasting. This diet will control your untimely hunger and will also help you to maintain a healthy and fit weight. Apart from these, you can also follow simple keto and the paleo diet. They will also help you in the same manner.

CONCLUSION:

These are some of the things that I follow to control my acid reflux and I have recommended this to others as well and they were happy to see positive results. Heartburn, GERD, acid reflux, stomach acid, or gastric problem. Whatever you call it. It can lead to serious health issues in the worst cases people can also develop ulcers due to acid reflux. So try to follow the tips that I have mentioned and if you are already suffering a lot then do consult the doctor because it is a very serious issue, don’t take it lightly. I have seen several cases where GERD has also caused death. So it’s better to take precautionary measures before this disease gets serious. People who follow a proper diet and change their lifestyle will without any doubt prevent acid reflux from coming up again. This is the only way in which you can control it. I have tried all these tips and did showed me positive results.
