Another reason why smartphones are so popular nowadays is that they are really advanced nowadays. The first smartphones were very limited in what you could do with them but today smartphones have become so fast and powerful that you start to wonder how they pull it off in such a small device. Many laptops do not have the kind of storage that the top smartphones have and with screens increasing in quality it isn’t surprising that so many people prefer smartphones.

Back in the day, most people used their PlayStations and Xbox for gaming and some used their PCs, but PCs weren’t nearly as powerful as they are now. When mobile games first came out they were mostly arcade-style games where there wasn’t really that much you could do in the game.
