Major changes
- Dragon islands: Players are waiting for pumping up to level 70 and the opportunity to go to the island of dragons on the Shores of Awakening, Plains of On’ara, Azure Reach, and Taldrazus. To be ready for an upgrade, it is recommended to upgrade your hero to the maximum level, or buy dragonflight boost and be one of the first to go to conquer new locations and levels.
- New race and class: Players will be introduced to Draktir – the first class without being tied to a specific faction with the ability to switch appearance to human and dragon, and two areas of abilities – restoration and healing, or destroying the enemy with fire at a long distance.
- Flying: On each of the dragon islands, players are waiting for representatives of dragons with the possibility of friendship and soaring on them. As they level up, the dragons will transform and become larger and more vicious – the higher the level, the longer the player will be able to fly the dragon.
- Talents: The talent system has been changed, and now players will be able to choose the level of talent at any level without compromising the hero’s stats.
- Professions: Now, players will be able to complete craft orders for other players and special tools that will help the character consolidate the status of the best blacksmith and artisan.
- Interface: Redesigned interface for the convenience of players and adaptation to modern monitors.
New locations
According to the game plot presented to the players from the announced video – the Dragon Islands were hidden from the eyes of the curious for a long time, but an unknown force made the stone guardians wake up.
To go to the new Dragon Isles – go to the bay of Orgrimmar or Stormwind. In this update, there are no faction divisions, and representatives of the Alliance and Horde factions will sail together and transfer to other ships associated with their factions upon arrival.
Players who do not belong to the new race will go through a linear company and visit each new location in order, but only for the first character on the account. The rest will be able to complete tasks in random order and not be tied to the storyline.
The new race Draktyra will start their journey on the islands, they will pump and strengthen themselves and their dragon in order to leave the island in the future and go to conquer the game worlds.
The order of passing new locations for characters:
The shores of awakening are the former abode of black dragons who left the lands and their home was inhabited by red dragons and half-giants who exterminate each other on the lands. Accompany Wrathion and help him learn the history of his predecessors by completing quests.
The On’ara Plains is the abode of centaurs and green dragons, according to some information, On’ara, the god of the wind, can also be found on it.

Taldrazus is the last location available for players to upgrade in the new update. Consists of high mountains and various caves. On it stands Valdraken – the capital of the dragon kingdom. The city is divided into quarters – each of which is dedicated to its own kind of dragons. All quarters have their own special style of decoration and auction.
Dragonfly upgrade details
The restriction on one covenant (a faction with which you can maintain and improve relations) will be removed, as it was in Shadolands – now players are unlimited in choosing a faction.
A new talent system that will grow at each level and offer a power-up system that depends on the class and its role in the game universe. At each stage, the player will have a choice of two directions in which to invest points.
Dragons and Flying – Players can now fly tamed dragons while learning tricks and training to control and power up the pet. Remember that all flying creatures will be able to knock you out of the saddle if you are not careful.
Having pumped all the skills of the flight tree, you will become a really skilled dragon rider, you will be able to do aerobatics and be hardy to external factors.
