Visit Centennial Olympic Park

Now that’s something to see! Relax as you stroll through the large canopies of flowers and different vines, as well as edible gardens and rainforest areas with wildlife living there. The canopy walk is a lengthy 600-foot pathway that guides you along oak and hickory trees. There are oriental gardens that are clean and tidy, with koi ponds and smooth rocks to add a sense of peace. You surely don’t want to miss out on these gardens.

Mary Mac’s Tea Room

After walking around town and gardens all day, you’ll build up an appetite for southern comfort food. Mary Mac’s Tea Room specializes in fried chicken with gravy biscuits and cornbread, as well as sweet tea and lemonade. Enjoy a lunch or dinner here as you take in the historic tea room around you with its old-school, southern charm. For dessert, try a decadent peach cobbler or pecan pie to savor your sweet tooth. 

Tiny Doors ATL

This is definitely one of the most unique attractions you’ll probably ever experience. This is a miniature art project, and has tiny doors scattered all around Atlanta. If you’re looking for some exercise to do with family that takes you off the beaten path, grab some bikes and try to complete this scavenger hunt to find the tiny doors! 

World of Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola was first invented in Atlanta, and is now home to one of the largest tourist attractions in this city. This soda museum includes a 3D theatre, taste testing, and watching how the Coca-Cola is bottled and packaged. When you’re finished touring the museum, make sure to take your photo with the famous Coca-Cola polar bear!
